One Life, One Profession?

Regardless of how stereotypical approaches to having one profession for the entire life are gradually breaking up since the post-Soviet period, Breavis polls come to prove that more than half of our country’s population (50.9%) has no longer a desire to pursue a new profession.

According to polls, 18-30 years old people (68.8%) are among those who want to acquire a second profession, at the same time people’s rate above 61 years old is significant (22.2%) too.

It turns out that the 53.3% of those wishing to get a new profession already have a higher education.

The leading profession among the preferred new professions are of a physician/ nurse, which are followed by an economist, philologist (linguist), lawyer, pedagogy and IT.
