On April 6 the Parliament of Artsakh Republic hosted a conference entitled “Challenges and Modern Developments of Transcaucasian Region․” The conference covered special reports and papers on security issue of Artsakh and Armenia, regional development trends and challenges.
Armen Khachikyan, the coordinator of “Ditaket” research project of Breavis, presented his paper entitled “Army as a Social Institution.” Mr. Khachikyan has emphasized on the role and the importance of military sociology and conduction of research in this field. The paper also covered issues related to the specificities of army as a social institution and army/military service reputation.
