Insights Into the Views of Armenia’s Residents

A recent survey conducted by Breavis on behalf of the International Republican Institute’s Center for Insights in Survey Research provides key insights into the perspectives of Armenia’s citizens on various social and political issues. The survey was carried out between November 22 and December 5, 2021, with a sample size of 1,512 permanent residents aged 18 and above.

Key findings highlight that a majority of Armenians rely on social media, particularly Facebook, for daily political news. The direction of Armenia and defense capabilities show a divided opinion, while a majority of respondents identified as followers of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The household income data suggested that the largest group of respondents earns between 100,001 – 200,000 AMD monthly.
