In September 2020, the International Republican Institute (IRI) conducted a survey across Armenia to understand public sentiment on women’s political participation and domestic violence in the country. The findings provide government officials, political parties and citizens with the insights needed to effectively address the public’s concerns regarding these issues.
Methodology
The survey was conducted on behalf of IRI’s Center for Insights in Survey Research by Breavis (represented by IPSC LLC) between August 29 and September 9, 2020. Data was collected through phone interviews using a random digit dialing method. The sample consists of 1,511 respondents aged 18+ and the data was weighted for 11 regional groups, age, gender and community type. The margin of error does not exceed plus or minus 2.5 points and the response rate was 27 percent.
